Annual Doula Retreat

Save the date for our 5th Annual Doula Retreat:  February 23-24, 2018

Take Time to Nurture Yourself and Learn with Your Doula Sisters!

What Happens at our Retreats?

Last year’s retreat focused on self care and empowering our clients. Friday evening, we created birth paintings, shared a potluck dinner, had our now-traditional “Show & Tell,” and ended the night around a fire eating s’mores.  Saturday morning’s sessions was focused on maintaining healthy boundaries and self care. In the afternoon, we looked at how to help empower our less-empowered clients, and discussed caring for both ourselves and our clients in the face of obstetric violence. We ate some great food and learned from each other in a relaxed, natural setting! (Approved for 6 DONA CEU’s)
